Geoffs thirteenth signature shoe is the culmination of over a decade of design experience with Vans. In Geoffs words: The Style 99s was a design idea I had been thinking over for the last few years- how to design a simple yet very unique pattern that would be both timeless and modern. All Vans footwear that has stood the test of time had these two elements. I would say it has been in the works since the moment I rode for Vans in early 1999, hence the name. The shoe is built on the foundation of Rowleys first Vans shoe with a simplified, slim padded upper inspired by our heritage. The upper features a subtle reference to the sidestripe- a detail Geoff deliberately worked into the design. The Style 99s combines clean colorblocking and the classic waffle sole to deliver all the style and performance you have come to expect from a Rowley design.
