Sector 9's Teahupoo Bamboo Pintail This Week!

Sector 9 Teahupoo Bamboo Longboard Skateboard new graphic for 2010

The Teahupoo pronounced Choepoo is the most popular shape from the Sector 9 Bamboo Series. Sector 9 Teahupoo is the 4th Bamboo Pintail Longboard graphic from Sector 9. It follows the ever popular Pipeline and before that the Uluwatu. The Teahupoo is the longest skateboard in Sector 9's Bamboo Series. A fast and smooth riding board the "Teahupoo" is a must have. The deck features a "W" concave and mild camber to add to its strength while still allowing a nice amount of flex.

Sector 9 uses Bamboo construction on this skateboard for function, durability and environmental purposes. Bamboo gives these longboards a smooth flexy ride. The flex that bamboo offers helps with the carving feel on longboards and when the flex release puts energy into your turns. Environmentally the rate that bamboo grows at approximately 4 feet per week makes it an ideal resource for skateboard construction other than the typical Maple construction.
